Phase 1:

Phase 1 of the NY3Rs E-book Pilot, which ran from August 20, 2012 to May 12, 2013, is now complete. The business model in Phase 1 leveraged short-term loans with purchases. After a title was loaned by the group more than 7 times (this number can be adjusted up or down), a purchase was triggered at 5 times the list price. The group then owns the title and is available for all to use up to 1,625 times annually.
